Extended Stay America - accommodation in St. Petersburg - Clearwater

Overall it is a great property, we had several meals and drinks at the poolside bar and Monica was great to us. Towels and beach chairs/umbrellas are included, this was a very useful perk. The only issues were with checkin/checkout. I called around 10am the morning of my stay to see if I could check in early. The 1-800 number asks to press a button to update an existing reservation then says you can only make new reservations. I was on hold for over 10 minutes and gave up. When I got to the property, I mentioned that I was a Wyndham rewards member, but they did not have record of that and could not look it up by my number. We were able to check in but only about 20 minutes earlier than the official check in time. We called downstairs to get help with our luggage when we were checking out. After 1 minutes no one came up or responded so we carried our stuff down ourselves. The person at the desk said that the number for service is outsourced, sounds like a process that needs to be improved. The overall experience was good and it is a nice hotel, but I expected better service at the beginning and end.

Excellent trip! It was our third time staying here and it’s very clean and great for families. Awesome views too!
