Huge resort in a small, well kept town! Our room was right on the bay and was clean and nice. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. There is not a place for breakfast but if you go a little further south on the main road, there is a shopping center with a McDonalds (and a CVS and some other things)... We were in a hurry to get home so did not try any of the breakfast places that the desk clerk recommended. The staff guy that checked us in was SUPER nice and helpful!

The work going on at the resort really cut into my enjoyment. Also I thought the lobby area could have been set up better. All the chairs closely arranged facing the fireplace without a fire going was not inviting. The room was ok. The staff were helpful.

This property is good but only if you can stay at a deep discount. You would be very disappointed if you paid the $600+ per night asking price. Staff were friendly and it is right on the bay, the rooms were clean but not worth the “retail” price IMO.

4/5 Stars I had a wonderful stay at this resort—the property is beautiful, the staff were friendly, and the amenities truly made the experience feel like a relaxing getaway. The pool area and dining options were especially enjoyable, and everything was clean and well maintained. That said, there was one inconvenience: my room key card stopped working, and even after being issued multiple replacements (four in total), the issue persisted. Eventually, I had to wait about 10 minutes for maintenance to come and open the door. Thankfully, the staff handled it professionally and quickly resolved the problem once it was escalated. Despite that hiccup, I would still recommend this resort and would definitely consider staying here again!

The Rod and Reel is always our 1st choice for our anniversary. The staff is excellent, the food is terrific but the property is under construction and will be even more beautiful in June. Trader's has marvelous food also! But, I have a problem with Expedia made it seem that the room that I reserved would have a fantastic full exposure water view. The room that I was given did not!! I had to pay to upgrade to get the view I really wanted for my 20th anniversary.

Excellent location, very close to North beach. The building is under construction. Board cafe is not open yet. Check in time is late and strict. There is a $50 charge for checking in before 2pm.
