Breakers 307

Excellent place to stay. Very complete condo with everything we needed. Nice furniture inside & out. Property pools & hot tubs are very nice. The adult hot tub was hot! Great surprise—that doesn’t always happen. It was very helpful to have push carts for loading & unloading readily available. Easy checkout too—thank you!

Nice Clean Place

Was a great location in South Padre. The condo was very clean and we had an excellent time! There were a couple of maintenance issues, but nothing too serious. The workers there were very nice and helpful.

Great location

Fabulous location and great condo. Only issues would be mushy master bed, some overdue maintenance issues (bad recliner, loose cabinet doors, sink and shower drain issues), "heated pools" that didn't feel like it, and total cost being plenty high. We'd still go back in a heart beat.

Quick Family Trip

We were only there for a long weekend but the condo and location genuinely exceeded expectations. The view, the beach access, the pool (s)!!! We had so much fun in our short stay. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to go back for a longer stay.....

Perfect beachfront locale

We loved our stay here. The condo is in a perfect location. We were able to walk to most places. Loved the privacy of the beach directly in front of the condo. The air conditioning worked well, which is always a plus. We had a fabulous time and would definitely rent this condo again.

Great condo for the location, large space and view! Beautiful pool and beach area and the balcony has an amazing view of it all. Nice kitchen and we enjoyed cooking meals there. Had a bit of a problem with the toaster not working (bummer). The pull out sofa bed is still broken (as mentioned in another review). It's completely useless as a bed for even one person, much less two, so don't consider it at all for a sleeping space. Made for some inconvenient sleeping arrangements for our group, but we didn't let it ruin our stay. Looking forward to returning one day.

Sofa sleeper & 2nd door key.

Loved the condo, clean & spacious. The location is perfect, walking distance to nice restos. I love the fact that you can use the other pools within the complex. The unit is beachfront and loved the view from the balcony. Had a hiccup when the 2nd door key wouldn't work for the door. I called Kevin, he's very nice, he said he'll send his guy to bring another set of keys next day so we can have a 2nd key to use, guy didn't show up. Also, the sofa sleeper was broke, the sofa sleeper looked nice,but when we pulled out the sleeper, the metal wires attaching the matress hammock to the metal frame were already broke rendering the sofa sleeper unusable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay...had to extend one more night because we enjoyed it very much. Our first time at South Padre, but definitely will not be the last. We've been going to Destin for the nice beach and sand, but South Padre was surprisingly nice too...it ain't Destin but still nice if you want a shorter drive. I would rent the same condo unit again if they fix the sleeper sofa and give us a working 2nd key next time.

Great spot!

Took my 3 teenagers to the beach for a few days and this condo worked out perfectly! The location is great - the building is easy to get to, reserved parking spot very convenient, proximity to the stairs and elevator is ideal (although I recommend taking the stairs whenever you can as the elevator smells really bad), and the view from the balcony straight out the boardwalk to the beach is fantastic. The kitchen equipment covered all the basics including THREE different kinds of coffee makers (drip, Keurig, and French press). There were even - the holy grail of vacation rentals - sharp knives!!! The only thing missing was hot pads. A couple of serving pieces would have been useful, but we were able to make do with what was there. Sometimes these types of rentals have some basic spices on hand but there was only salt and pepper here so plan to pack what you need. Plenty of bath towels. There were even body boards in the closet to use at the beach. Umbrellas with chairs underneath are set up on the beach daily and available to rent for $30/day. If you bring your own shade, you'll have to go down the beach a bit (not far, though) as you cannot set up directly in front of the building. Overall we had a great experience and I would definitely stay again.
