I loved staying at holiday inn resort it was so nice i loved the pools ,beach access,varietys of events they have nice staff arcade for the kids and bar i just loved everything definitely will stay here again.

Went to check in and they said i didn't have a room. I literally paid in advanced. They said they over booked. I said there was no way they didnt have a room. They didnt said they couldnt do anything. I blew up, raised hell, and just stood and waited. After about 15 minutes, suddenly they had a room. Complete and total BS! No one canceled, no one didn't show. They just had room all of a sudden. This place has gone to hell. I have been booking here for every Starship flight and they have gotten progressively worse.

For the hotel to be classified as a resort I honestly expected better. When using the ice machine, I noticed there were many roaches in the ice itself. However, I was dismissed by the front desk when I let them know of the issue we had encountered. Besides this issue, everything else was fine. Pools were clean and the rest of the staff was friendly. Rooms could have been in better condition.

Nice but can improve

The pillows were hard and the bed seemed small, The view to the beach was nice but the walk to our room was lengthy and the parking area needs more lighting. I would also recommend a lighted sign out by the Main Street to designate the entry area as it is hard to see at night. I got charged an extra $50 and I still don’t know why. The staff seemed friendly and helpful so overall I gave it a 3 rating.

Super great and friendly staff - the highlight of our stay. The beach access is great and the beach area is great. Being around 6 miles north of Starbase, it's a decent place to watch a launch. The rooms are old but slightly renovated. The HVAC unit doesn't keep the humidity under control like better beach properties, so our room felt cold and clammy and wasn't as comfortable even though the beds cushion and support were nice. The main pool water was low and many tiles were missing. The Azul restaurant was woefully understaffed and slow, but the servers were kind and attentive when they could come by.
