First issue Santa we booked through Expedia. There was a fire in the room across the hall from us and our room was filled with smoke. The hotel moved us to another room and then we spent the night and the next day they told us the room as already booked and we had to move to another room. They would have comped us a couple nights but we booked via Expedia so they said they were unable to give us anything. Needless to say I would never stay there again and never ever book a IHG via Expedia

The rooms were somewhat clean. Did find a hair in the shower but, the beds were clean. The hotel itself could use some updating. Elevators in particular are old an scratched up and move slow.

Check in staff was very kind. One was on day # 3 and was such a sweet young man. Room # 209,211 was having some plumbing issues (bad smell). They moved me to #321. Beds were on Box springs low to the floor (not handicapped). Bathroom no smells, but hand towel had makeup on it. Spots on the wall that wiped away. Bed #1 had hair in the layers. Bed #2 was fine. No ironing board- I used the bed to iron. Room was not visibly dirty in any other places. I wasn't expecting a ***** but I do need CLEAN no matter what. I didn't complain again because I wanted to give grace with the state of the world where a lot of people don't want to work. I hope that this review will encourage a two person check system of the rooms.
