Pleasant 3 day stay , very convenient if you don’t have a car ,on the main bus route Riccarton Rd if you want to go to Westfield Mall or the City ,walking distance to Bush Inn Mall lots of eating places and supermarket Would stay here again

Clean room and friendly staff

Very expensive for the fact that you had a timed shower - 8 minutes. Smacks of why water restrictions given proximity to lake. Question - do locals have timed showers? Not sure re use of compost toilets given that septic system for whole site with recycled water system could have been effective. Food was great. Alan

Great location, facilities and staff

Great location, in amongst everything and walking distance to bus, supermarket, centre of town and all attractions. My queen room with a balcony was great. Compact but a good use of space. Loved watching the fog roll in from my bed. Bed was comfy, as were pillows. Bathroom spacious and balcony was great. There was an issue with the TV not having any reception, but they said it was due to a recent storm, and being fixed next week. Thankfully could stream from apps but connectivity was a little tricky and time consuming. There was a very noisy heating system (?) that kept me awake for a lot of the second night. I reported to reception on checkout. Definitely needs addressing, as it was really noisy and kept cutting in and out throughout the night. I would definitely stay again. I probably just would opt for a different room location.
