The hotel was really nice. However, the internet is really really slow. In this day and age, internet speed is a basic for hotels. It is really not acceptable that the internet is so slow.

Check-in was 3:00 p.m., but the room was not ready. Not a huge deal, but the woman at the front desk was less than friendly about it. Someone else took over right around that time, and was much more communicative and seemed like she wanted to be helpful even though there really wasn't much she could do. The room was clean and spacious, and overall a good deal for the price. The hotel is within walking distance of several dining options, and is just a short drive from the Notre Dame campus and downtown area. Breakfast was pretty typical for a breakfast included hotel, and there were enough options that most people should be able to find something. The dining area/lobby was clean and spacious with plenty of seating to eat. There is also a restaurant/bar in the lobby although I did not try the food. I would absolutely recommend this place to someone on a budget.

Great location! Close to shopping and resteraunts. The rooms are showing a little wear and tear, but nothing that we couldn’t deal with. Overall my family was very comfortable and found everything to be very clean. Comfortable beds and bedding, plenty of towels. The biggest downside was only 1 out of 2 elevators was working. For a hotel as busy as this one, they really need both to be functioning. We really liked our stay and we would stay here again.

Ok hotel not the best

The room is ok for a single or couple but I don't recommend this for a family with children. The bathroom only has a shower and is not very big. The shower door only covers half of the stall. The desk is away from the TV so using that and watching TV is not easy.
