Curfew for adults?

I thought my stay was alright, my travel team stayed there. The staff was polite, rooms were clean. One thing that really bothered us, was after a long day of basketball, the teams parents are sitting in the lobby with the children, not being loud or anything, watching the nba playoffs on the television, the time is about 10:45pm, and we are told the lobby is closed, the tv must go off, and we cannot hang out together down there because of a curfew? We are adults, paying good money to stay there, would be staying often, but any trip our team has gone on, this has never been said to us. He was polite about it, no rude, only doing his job, my complaint isn’t with him, it’s with the rule. Everything else was great. Because of that, our team looked confused, felt like we were being told what to do, and we decided we won’t stay at these hotels again. Unfortunate, because everything else was on point.

Great overnight stay

My husband and I decided to stay at this property for a night since we lost power at home. We chose this based on price, as well as the pool. I will say, the pool itself was not very warm, in fact it was quite cold, but that did not stop us from taking my son swimming. He quite enjoyed himself, even if he was shivering by the end. The rooms were nice and big, very tall ceilings. Bathroom was well stocked with towels, and the shower things (shampoo, body wash, conditioner, lotion, and hand soap) were all full size bottles of Dove, which personally I loved. Beds were comfy, there was plenty of room for my sons pack n play, and we had a nice quiet night as a family. Only thing i would change honestly was the temperature of the pool. Great stay otherwise!

The room was clean, quiet, spacious, modern, and very functional. Excellent pillows, bed was fine. Staff was just ok. the first guy just couldn't really be bothered. Definitely wasn't friendly but also wasn't grumpy. Just a living body working the desk. Lobby is just ok, the layout is weird. Breakfast was excellent. We had fresh bacon, scrambled eggs (real ones), biscuits and gravy, fresh pancakes (a machine automatically makes them) and fresh ground coffee (the coffee machine also freshly grinds your beans) it was really good. The only detriment would be that I needed to fix the toilet as the handle was stuck and would not flush, not a big deal but it will need repaired/replaced by the hotel. This might have been a bigger issue for a different visitor. Also, the pool was somewhat cloudly and had a strong scent of chlorine, the kids decided to pass on swimming.
