The stay was great, ive deducted a point for a couple of reasons - the room was far too hot, there was a fan which helped but it was uncomfortable all the same. Also t bags only 1 in the room - technically 4 but as they were flavoured it was just 1 - loads of coffee but just 1 t bag. There is no choice for G/F option on the food menu and no way of finding out the gluten containing foods at breakfast no labelling, no sheets and no info at all online - there is loads of choice if your careful, smoked salmon, cured meats, youguurt, sone fruit. Bacon, eggs and broccoli but it would have been fab to know about the sausages, black pudding, breads, cereals etc Overall a really good stay comfortable bed and great pool!

I felt like i walked into a different world. It was realxing, welcoming and staff on hand to help with everything. Breakfast staff lady at 7am went the extra mile, especially with the wedding prep. Kunga was lovely on reception. Food delightful and great service.

Very clean hotel, only thing was bar closed just before 11 and we were not asked if we wanted a last drink they just shut up and left also Tv in room took some fiddling in to get it to turn on. Breakfast was so good and staff were lovely

Really nice room, but no air con. There was a fan but it was hot in the room. It wasn’t high summer either. Also the gate was closed on campus and our uber driver couldn’t get to the hotel without a campus tour at midnight. Apart from that the room was nice.

Good hotel - surprisingly - within the university campus. There didn’t seem to be a lift (?) so had to carry cases up stairs. The staff - quite possibly - are made up of university students so we found the food service a bit hit and miss, but were pleased with the vegetarian options on the restaurant menu.

Check-in was a lot easier now than before because of the self check-in. It was pretty straightforward and there were staff if you require assistance. My only issue was that my ground floor room was too close to the student accommodation that I can hear what was going on there. But, overall, it was a good experience. The room was neat and tidy. The hotel is conveniently close to one of the bus stops so one can travel around campus or to the town centre easier. It’s free on campus and about £2.50 to town. It’s easier to pay with your credit card.

Check in is a disaster. Trying to be modern with a self check in but either the machines don’t work or people find it confusing. Lack of staff apparent, particularly when we went for dinner. Young staff with no management, were in a panic as they couldn’t cope with the amount of guests. Effectively told they wouldn’t serve us at 7.45pm Venue is modern and comfortable. Rooms are fine. Bathrooms need attention. Doors showing signs of water ingress and lack of attention to cleaning. More staff and more management on duty would help.

Our go to Pickleball hotel

Modern hotel nice restaurant fantastic breakfast quiet and peaceful nice ambience the beds were great very comfortable but firm which suited me very clean will be coming again
