The room itself is standard. A little on the small side but adequate. The area is super nice with walking paths next to water. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a gem. It is older but clean and has everything you need. We had a little patio with view of the ocean which is very close. Very sad to leave. We will be coming back!!

Convenient to walking downtown and the oceanfront boardwalk. Very good restaurant next-door with great Italian menu. No elevator to second floor rooms so managing a big suitcase up the stairs was difficult. Not enough parking stalls near the front entrance. The breakfast brew was too small and you had to take food up to your room, which was small.

Overall a good place to stay, basic breakfast (but not enough places to sit). We paid through Expedia but after the fact were charged a mysterious $11.74 on our card which after quite a few attempts to talk to the front desk we were told was a "District Tax" so not happy with that and cannot understand why we were not told beforehand, or why Expedia did not include it.

I stayed in the main building on the second floor with a beautiful view of the waterfront. I come every year from Vancouver to this charming hotel for a break from the city. Never disappoints.

A great view of the ocean from the back rooms, and a balcony to sit out and enjoy the sights and sounds. If you're there in the summer take in the Thursday evening street market. Lots of interesting vendors and yummy food.
