Hotels with Shopping in Shrewsbury

The room was on the small side for 2, we had to shuffle around each other several times, and close the wardrobe door to be able to pass to the bathroom. The bathroom was modern and a good size, lovely big fluffy towels. Plenty of toiletries provided, but one little thing that was lacking-a block of soap was provided but no soap dish and nowhere to place it when wet as the washbasin was round without any flat part. Breakfast was fine, not the biggest selection I've had in a 4 star hotel but enough to satisfy most people. There was a nice lounge with a bar which we used for a nightcap, and an outside courtyard but we had to request for that to be opened. Location was great, central and easy walk to everything in the centre. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This is an old historic pub with accommodations. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was small but well appointed, comfortable and clean..large bathroom. We were surprised by how quiet it was despite being over the pub and on a busy street. We had dinner one evening and food was delicious. There is a nice terrace. The location is perfect...close walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for one night and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Ok, it is a little dated but on the other hand the building is full of history and character. Parking on site at a discounted price very much appreciated considering its town centre location. There is no breakfast or restaurant facility, but who would not want to venture the few yards outside the hotel where you are spoilt for choice for lovely wide ranging places to eat. Look forward to staying here again.
