i chose this motel because of the great reviews. I was a bit disappointed that I could hear the people in the next room (someone had specially noted how quiet it was and that neighbours couldn’t be heard) and that, although a toaster was provided there was no bowl or plate, knife or fork etc.: just one teaspoon. Also although there was an iron and ironing board there was no hairdryer. I didn’t think I would have to request one, and I arrived not long before reception closed for the night and didn’t notice the lack until it was too late.

Southgate Motor Inn is my motel of choice in Shepparton. I’ve stayed here a couple of times now and both times have been great. It’s quiet, very spacious, and excellent value for money. The rooms are clean, the private courtyards are a great bonus, and the pool is fantastic. Overall a really comfortable stay — highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back.

Southgate Motor Inn is my motel of choice in Shepparton. I’ve stayed here a couple of times now and both times have been great. It’s quiet, very spacious, and excellent value for money.
