Truly one of THE BEST around
Absolutely lived up to its previous reviews, warm friendly pub, excellent service from such pleasant and helpful staff. The room was spacious, well appointed, airconditioned, and no shortage of tea, coffee, and spring water. Ultra clean en-suite, and a bed that hugged you when you were ready for lights out. The food was amazing, cooked so that the flavours hit your taste buds, with plenty of choices on a 'cant make my mind up what to choose' menu.Recommended for a stop over, or definitely an evening meal if you dont have the time to stay and sample the open fire and the friendly service.

Room was spotless and just lovely. Food was fantastic, and all the staff were absolutely brilliant. This was a lovely relaxing break for us and we would recommend the Marquis without any hesitation.

A fabulous Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The dinner was amazing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and well equipped- the homemade choc chip cookies were a lovely touch!

Perfection!
Perfection - graceful yet welcoming & cosy decor and the friendliest staff who really want to make your stay perfect. Kind, relaxed hosting from every member of the team, and especially welcoming to my dog! Dinner was sublime, and breakfast was generous and delicious. Cherry on the cake was the indulgently deep copper soaking bath. A great find, one to return to again and again.
