This property is of a high standard and the central location in the old town of Valletta coupled with great service makes it a wonderful place to base yourself. The rooms are very comfortable and an absolute pleasure to come back to after a tiring day of sightseeing. The only issue we had was that the safe keypad was a bit dodgy to operate.

The San Karlu exceeded all of my hopes, with its location in the heart of old town Valletta. Service was excellent and so was the breakfast. I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to holiday in an historic, beautifully renovated building with a nice pool and in walking distance to almost all of Valletta, particularly restaurants and bars.
