Nothing luxury about this place

There are hotels who abuse the word luxury in their descriptions and unfortunately this hotel is one of them. The only positive i can pick was the quality and the comfort of the bed linen. Everything else was average including the toiletries in the bathroom which were refilled and the squeeze mechanisms didn't work as it was overused and could not squeeze the liquids. The walls were paper thin and i felt like someone was in my room talking but it was a room next door. Breakfast was something i would rather forget and not write about it. The bathroom was damaged by moisture as there was no natural ventilation and no exhaust fan. The moisture and smells sit in the bathroom, nowhere to escape.

Staffs were wonderful.. Hazel and crew. Were very nice.. However: my booked rooms roof was leaking. Second room#5 was the best. The third nights room had smells and had to climb to my sleeping area. Middle of the night had to find my way down to the washroom going steep stairwells….

Casa Ellul is a small gem with an excellent restaurant. The chef was able to devise an outstanding dinner for us based on our vegan requirements. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, even coming around a tea time with treats. The location is in the historic part of Valleta but is still very quiet. Recent renovations have restored the character of the building with a modern touch.

Opposite of corporate bland, this is a jewel!

this boutique Hotel earns every one of the stars and positive feedback it gets. The physical setting and location were exquisite. The staff made the whole experience a 10 out of 10.

This sweet little boutique hotel within Old Town Valletta met our needs perfectly for three nights prior to boarding a cruise ship. They can arrange a shuttle from the airport for you so that door-to-door access is possible. Outstanding restaurant in-house (Risette). Great staff. We absolutely loved it.

Casa Ellul is an exceptional gem in Malta, and my stay there was nothing short of delightful. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending modern luxury with historic charm. Rand and Fiona were particularly fabulous, going above and beyond to ensure that our experience was unforgettable. Excellent central location. Lots of bars, restaurants and sights nearby. Room small and basic (to be expected in a small boutique hotel) but clean and well maintained. Had balcony which was nice, and gave additional space. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
