Spent 2 nights with family in January 2026, way off season. Loved the location - very quiet, but just 4 minutes drive to downtown and the mall. Very comfortable beds, used the smart TV to entertain the kid with Netflix, Youtube etc. There was a fridge and a microwave which are always good to have. The only tiny issue was a fancy faucet in the bathroom that was spilling water off the sink when not fully open - I was told ongoing renovations would take care of that. But the general condition of the property was very good. We liked it so much I already booked another stay for next month's long weekend.

2 issues, they say they have truck parking, but NOT. Guy took about an hr to find us a spot across the street on a lawn. We had a 26' Uhaul. In the AM when we wanted to use the kitchenette, we tried (unsuccessfully) to use the cooktop bit it had some sort of child lock on it. We spent a good hr trying to unlock it. The staff doesn't arrive until 8. Even the staff member had difficulty and eventually got a tech guy on the phone and he told the staff guy how to unlock it, by then we had to start packing up and couldnt really make full use of the stove top. I mentioned they really should have an instruction sheet, he seemed like huh, hmmm, maybe a good idea ! When I checked out he asked how our stay was. I told him all about the above, he said next time we stay he would "take care of us". I told him we wouldn't stay again unless they refunded us the difference between the kitchenette room and the regular room. He said no.

Room was fine, although the pillows were gigantic and fairly impossible to use. Nick picking. Not really the motels fault, but it was very noisy. People from a Xmas party were staying there and enjoyed themselves late into the night.

there was a kids hockey tournament in town and at 9:47pm when children were playing hockey in the parking lot screaming and banging on my room window I ended up calling in front desk to ask them to quiet down. in the morning at 8am the same children were playing hockey in the hotel hallway banging and hitting the ball into my door, I packed and checked out by 8:30am. it is unfortunate that stricter rules could not be enforced that being respectful of other occupants did not cross anyones minds especialy the parents of the children.
