Cons - We found a half eaten melon in our room when we checked in. The lights from the ferris wheel was very bright at night time when trying to sleep and there were no blackout curtains It was just blinds. The beds are very uncomfortable and the pool is not heated. Pros- close to the beach and the boardwalk in a very nice location. The shower was very nice It had different amenities to it. The staff overall seemed friendly.

I loved this hotel because it was literally on the boardwalk so you would think it’s expensive but the total opposite it was super affordable nice big clean pool. The staff when we checked in were very nice and very informative, even gave us a book with activities and restaurants in the nearby area. The room was very clean, no odor, and stocked with towels ! The guest in the hotel were also respectful even with so many young teenagers staying as well. Even has an attached bar and lounge ! They even have their own private parking lot one block away. It was a great stay I have no complaints. I would definitely return.

We loved bring right off the boardwalk. The restaurant changed owners and we couldn’t enter from the hotel area this year. There was mold all over our shower curtain, not the cleanest hotel but stay here for convenience and the front desk staff are excellent.

It was quite easy to satisfy me when I called a few days before to request a certain area to be put .. I asked for a room overlooking the boardwalk with a view of the water on the level of the patio … I was given a room further back on the third floor .. I was probably one of five people in that hotel and they couldn’t accommodate me they took my money and didn’t think twice. I checked in late and didn’t have the energy to tell the guy at the desk that he had one easy task and he couldn’t do it .. The lady in the morning that I told the story to refunding me a big $10.50 .. I greatly appreciate her efforts but as usual the big corporate money doesn’t care about one person .. well I still review people that screwed me and didn’t give me my money back from 15 years ago on reviews everywhere. So the incompetent person that gave me the wrong room is a whole reason for my reviews that are about to come for a very long time ..

Disgusting

Absolutely disgustingly dirty. Bed bugs, blood on curtains, pubic hair on toilet filth and dirty. Felt very unsafe the door didn't completely shut had to use the chain going across the door to keep it shut. Would never recommend this hotel. They person at the desk actually said we will give you a better room. Next room was just as bad only there was urine all over the toilet. Asked the desk person "doesn't anyone clean these rooms? ", no response. He and another guy just kept looking at the dirt and shrugged his shoulders .On to the next room not better but needed a place to sleep. Didn't even stay the next night, tried to get a refund for the for the next night and the manager wouldn't agree to it with hotels.com.

Aztec staff was very accommodating when we had to change our reservations due to a hurricane. They were very pleasant. Great location on the boardwalk. My kids loved it.
