Nice place but front desk staff very rude

The location of the hotel was ideal for all of our activities - easily walkable to restaurants and the river district. The front desk staff leaves much to be desired. The two women who were there when we arrived seemed bothered by the fact that we asked to leave our luggage while we went to get lunch as we arrived early and our rooms weren’t ready yet. They actually even said that the storage room was too full. There were other issues, too many to get into, but suffice it to say it took us over a half hour to check in at 3:30 after not getting the promised phone call telling us that the room was ready (we first arrived at 11 am). We were honestly made to feel like we were a burden to these workers. The rest of the stay was ok but that first experience made our introduction to Savannah a negative experience. I have never experienced treatment like that before, and I have stayed in holiday inn expresses and Hotel Indigos in other cities several times before. I will definitely visit Savannah again but will definitely not stay here.

I loved this place the pool on the Deck was super duper in late April (couldn't drag my kid from the pool / hot tub). Perfect location to walk everywhere you want to go downtown. We woke up early and walked around the squares before anything was open then back in the pool. Bed was really nice and room looked wonderful. I would come here just to sit in the hotel and meander around very relaxing. Breakfast had everything including pancakes and tasted delicious. Staff was friendly. I found Street Parking right outside and used that and there is a Public lot across the street.

Close to the river, good location. This was always my "go to" hotel when visiting Savannah but I'm not sure if I'll be back It seems to be going downhill and not maintained as well as it used to be. The elevators are fallen apart with one panel hanging to the side by masking tape. The rooftop pool has a beautiful view but it wasn't cleared regularly, towels everywhere.

Excellent staff. All staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was in the perfect location to walk to everything. Rooms were clean and spacious but the air did not cool well at all even after we informed the front desk, nothing was fixed. We were asked if we wanted to change rooms but we had already unpacked our suitcases. It wasn’t unbearable just not as cool as we like it.

We stayed here for a few nights and overall it was a ok place. The biggest plus is the location — it’s within walking distance of downtown attractions, restaurants, and shops, which made getting around super convenient. Our room had a great river view, which we really enjoyed. That said, if you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend requesting a room away from the main street — the street noise was pretty constant throughout the night. There were a few maintenance and service issues during our stay. We reported a toilet that kept flushing randomly, but unfortunately it was never fixed. We also had to request towels both at the pool and in our room, and both times they took quite a while to arrive. The elevators were also a concern — one panel was taped up with electrical tape, and we noticed that both elevators had inspection tags that were seven months out of date, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Breakfast was just okay — nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. All in all, this hotel has potential thanks to its location and view, but it could definitely benefit from improved maintenance and quicker service response.

Very clean and well located. There is a private parking garage next to the valet which can be about half what the hotel charges. Depending on if you go in and out a lot.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel I would say it was definitely a five-star for a Holiday Inn. The room was beautiful the whole hotel was beautiful smelled awesome, the continental breakfast was awesome, staff was super nice. I highly highly highly recommend it here!!

Great place to stay when you want to stay in the Savannah Historic District. Everything is available nearby.
