The location is unbeatable if you are coming or leaving by JR train. If you are arriving late or don't feel like traveling out, the mall attached to it has plenty of good restaurants. While individual experiences may vary, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Sapporo. It has consistently provided me with more enjoyable and memorable encounters than any other location in Japan. If you’re staying at the JR Tower hotel, you’ll be greeted with a smile and a hello from friendly staff at every turn. The bellhops in their traditional sharp dressed uniforms, the front desk staff, and even the housekeeping crew are all super helpful and attentive. They’ll hold doors for you, summon elevators, and make sure you have everything you need. It’s like being a feudal lord arriving from a successful conquest! And guess what? It’s even cheaper than the hotels in Shibuya and Akihabara! Top notch culinary experiences on the 35th floor restaurant. Relaxing onsen spa on the 22nd. Great buffet breakfast. Impeccable service throughout. The train station to the airport is right downstairs. 10 out of 10!
