Me and my Wife stayed here for our honeymoon. Very old fashioned and nice hotel. Room was spotless and great service. Receptionist was very friendly. Plenty of food options nearby. We would definitely stay again.

Check in was quick and staff was super nice. Room was cozy and clean with a view of fall foliage. Room was extremely quiet allowing for a great night of sleep. Restaurant on the other side of the lobby was convenient for breakfast and the meal was very tasty. Love the holiday decorations in the lobby — very homey!! Not our first visit but it has been a while since we visited and we will be back!!

Bed was comfy with quality linens. I ended up with top floor room under the eaves. A little wonky, especially in the shower. Top floor took a while to get hot water. Place is starting to show its age. Threadbare and peeling paint in spots. Excellent location for downtown access. Right across street and park from train station. They provide coffee in the morning, but I preferred large coffee shop across the street. Adjacent is Grossman's Restaurant and Deli. open 8 to 8 and serves delicious food. I gave less than stellar review for wonky old room, but the stay was actually quite nice.

We had a great time at the hotel! It was cute, the bed was comfy, and the location is central. We didn't have the best experience at Mrs. Grossmans, but that's not really on the hotel.

Charming historic hotel. It’s a STONE building! It’s located in an excellent spot in “ old town” with fabulous restaurants, delightful shopping, and amazing architecture Al around and within easy walking distance. Staff was attentive and helpful. Because this is an historic building, all the furniture in the room is “free standing”. None of the built-in furnishings found in contemporary hotels. There was a coffee maker in the room, but no mini fridge or microwave. Also our room on the 4th floor had no WIFI. The hotel’s complimentary WiFi didn’t even show up as a choice on our devices.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in all of California! Perfectly great small property with lots of charm, great personnel, excellent local restaurants and bars and shopping and close to everything. I will stay here continually during my visits to Wine Country.
