Love this hotel but the Carriage House rooms are nicer than the main house which really needs a major update. The carpet needs to be replaced. I was in a tired, ADA room that smelt. In their defense it’s all they had left. Bed was wonderful and I was very comfortable.

It’s a fun hotel to stay at because it’s so old. The rooms were decent. I felt they were a little bit rundown. Staff was very friendly. I like the location of railroad Square, but parking felt very unsafe. You have to park a little bit down from the hotel. There’s a lot of homeless people in that area so was definitely nervous when I had to drive back at night and walk from the parking lot to the hotel as a single.

This is an old hotel and is very pleasant and homey. Has an older elegance from a bygone era. The attached restaurant is elegant and delicious. There is a coffee roaster across the street that is also very good. This is my second stay and I will return again.

The property was beautiful. However, the night we were there the air conditioning system was not working. They had a person trying to fix it, but it did not get fixed. It was a hot day, we did not sleep well.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel La Rose. Upon check-in, the staff graciously upgraded our room, and we were delighted to discover a mini suite waiting for us. The room was beautifully decorated with warm touches, and the king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable. Our stay at this beautiful historic hotel was peaceful and delightful. We highly recommend booking a stay at Hotel La Rose.

Hotel La Rose was in a perfectly central location. Everything was either within walking distance, easily accessible by freeways, or easily drivable. I stayed in the newer section of the hotel, and the rooms were very clean, and there was a cute little balcony.
