Beautiful hotel, ok customer service.

We had a nice room in the carriage area. It was spacious. It was a bit noisy with the train coming in and out. There were no curtains to cover the large windows. There was a street light right outside our room which kept the room a bit bright. We had trouble getting extra blankets. At 11:40 pm the front desk called to say they had the blankets. We had been asleep for 2 hours and it wasn't ideal. I awkwardly overheard the staff talking about the incident when I walked through the lobby. We asked for the room to be cleaned all 3 days. They did do one day. The housecleaners were near our room so we could get fresh towels and have our trash emptied. This a beautiful historic hotel. There are a lot of homeless people in the park across the street and on the neighboring blocks. I would not recommend walking around alone. The restaurant on site was excellent! Make sure you have reservations.

Beautiful historic hotel right in downtown Santa Rosa near all the action. The staff was friendly and courteous throughout the stay. I stayed there several times and will keep going back making it my go to hotel when I visit friends in Santa Rosa.
