But it’s too close to the freeway and the pool and hot tub were filled with loud screaming kids. This did not feel like a 4-star hotel or a Hyatt. It felt like an old adult apartment complex that had been renovated (a while ago.) The bathrooms have the dreaded loud “Barn Door” and the decor was sparse and uninspired. The walls to the outer hall and in between rooms are paper thin so we heard every hall conversation and loud child running and screaming through it. We tried to drown out the noise but the fan on medium sounded like a car idling with a loud muffler. It was almost comical, except I got about 2 hours of sleep. Also, you can tell it’s “Pet Friendly” because the halls smelled like dog pretty badly. The valet had to be summoned frequently 2/3 times we needed them. I’m so sorry to report this place is just “okay” if you’re a large loud family with a pet- you’ll love it.
