This stunning house is situated in a perfect position right at the point of the Garajau headland - making it extremely private and with the most incredible ocean views. It was designed by world-famous multi-award-winning interior designer Nini Andrade Silva and has some truly stunning features. The spectacular master bedroom and en-suite bathroom, for instance, has 10M of floor-to-ceiling windows looking directly out to the ocean. There are three further double bedrooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen/dining/lounge area, a TV room, and a massive games room with darts and a ¾ sized snooker table.

Outside, the large upstairs terrace is perfect for entertaining, with a relaxing area, and an outside dining area equipped with a Weber BBQ. The terrace looks down to the heated swimming pool and gardens, and from there directly to Madeira's famous Christo Rei statue and the ever-changing vista of the Atlantic Ocean.

Garajau's traditional High Street has great range of shops, cafés, bars, supermarkets and restaurants, all within easy walking distance of the house. The house is just ten minutes' drive from Funchal International Airport, and only eight kilometres from Funchal town centre.

Airport transfers and sightseeing tours can be organised.

Pool heating is optional and costs 200,00€ per week for a setting of 24ºC, paid in cash on arrival. A supplement of 30,00€ per week applies for each additional degree set up to a maximum of 26ºC. The request must be placed one week in advance.

MUNICIPALITY ECOTAX

You will be required to pay 2€ per person per night for all guests aged over 18 years old, up to a maximum of 7€ per person. This payment is required in cash at check-in, so please have it ready.

Caniço is a coastal town on the Portuguese island of Madeira. The sprawling Quinta Splendida Botanical Garden has hundreds of different plant species.

A towering statue of Christ the King stands atop Cristo Rei Viewpoint, which offers sweeping ocean views. The Garajau Cable Car descends to a beach at the base of the cliff. Offshore, the clear waters of the Garajau Parcial Nature Reserve have manta rays and groupers.

The property is easily accessible by car.

Madeira Airport is a 13-minute drive from the property.
