Beautiful courtyard and restaurant, nice setting near the Santa Barbara Bowl and downtown. Quiet. But the rooms and bathrooms are definitely showing their age.

The hotel and the room were outdated, we requested and corner room or a room that shares wall with our friend(we booked 2 rooms) as we have a toddler who cries at night so we didn't want to disturb other guests but they denied and also we found one roach near restroom.

It was good for 1-night

It is a very good location, but the hotel definitely needs some upgrading. It is old and it needs new tubs/showers, carpet and the front door is not a tight seal. You can see daylight all around it. Also, there is no place to plug in your charging cord, so you need to bring your own cube for the outlet. But, the bed was comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The grounds are pretty with a lot of lemon trees and the jasmine scent all around was nice.

We were in town for one night for a concert at the SB Bowl. This was the perfect place for us to stay! Not too far from there or the beach, but not too close either. The room was was better than I expected for the relatively low price. Comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, and a balcony overlooking the beautiful courtyard which was a great place for breakfast (room service from the onsite restaurant) too! Will definitely stay there again.

Spaceous room, room still have carpets thus have a hint smell of the old room. However, it is cleaned and convenient. Nice balcony to seat outside. 3 mins drive to Mission Santa Barbara. Restaurant is right down stair and serving good food. A few homeless wonder around, they are nice not bothering anyone at all, but we saw this issue every where

They had roaches, no microwave in the room or the diningroom. The pool area was unkept the pillows on the lounge chairs were dirty. This place needs a total cleanup and redo!!!! It's disgusting. My last memory of this place was so nice. But now, it's horrible!!!!!

Fabulous hotel in Santa Barbara

This hotel is fantastic all the way around. Their restaurant on premises is fabulous. If there is one feedback for improvement, albeit a minor one, it is to update the shower stall to prevent water flowing over. The shower curtains are not entirely fit for purpose.

Liked the pool...it was clean and (I think heated....) And the courtyard was nice with lots of trees and plants. The tap water tasted terrible...but I think that is the city, not the hotel. The wait staff was kind enough to fill water bottles with filtered water from the restaurant. The floor in our room seemed rather dirty. My socks were gross looking if I walked around the floor at all.
