Very nice room and lovely breakfast. If you’re a tea drinker the hot water from the coffee machine is tepid at best but a request for a kettle was promptly accommodated though the milk in the fridge was off but again this was able to swap out for fresh from the bar. If unfamiliar with the area be aware need to drive past hotel to next roundabout and take first exit to gain access to rear.

Easy to find the hotel is in the centre of Sandbach Plenty of parking The staff were helpful and welcoming The choice of food especially the breakfast was excellent There are shops such as Boots, Waitrose and Costa close by I would happily recommend the Wheatsheaf Hotel

Great venue. The room was terrific. Great beds and pillows.Modern and spacious bathroom. Coffee machine gains even extra points! We had a really great stay and an excellent dinner the night before and wonderful oatcake breakfast the following morning. One noticeable difference to other places was the friendliness of all the staff, they really did seem to care about their guests which doesn't always happen. Great stay!

A wonderful stay in a lovely hotel.

Great town centre location. Beautiful room at excellent price. Little touches- good coffee, fresh milk, bathrobes, plentiful towels, quality cosmetics, all appreciated. All of the food was great, but a special shout out to the soufflé starter, a tasty starter of generous proportion.

Welcome was spot on - very friendly but professional. Food great and room very well presented. My only issue is road noise but hotel has installed extra glazing so bring ear plugs (I am a very light sleeper as live ima quiet location) ample car parking with free chargers

A nice little overnighter with friends at the Wheatsheaf. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had our evening meal at the Thai restaurant next door which was amazing. We did see some plates coming out before leaving and the food at the hotel looked good too. Our room (superior)was nicely done, lovely fluffy towels and a great size shower. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. My only reason for downgrading the amenities was because there was no lift. We would go back though
