The staff were very friendly and super helpful. The room for size was spacious but unfortunately, the cleanliness and amenities were disappointing. The bath mat was riddled with mould and the bathroom was grotty overall. The room was missing several amenities and we had to visit reception to gey these ourselves.

Our stay at Radisson San José was a great experience overall. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from downtown, which made it easy for us to explore the city on foot each day. It offers exactly what you would expect from a city hotel, including plenty of parking and convenient access to main areas.

The service by the staff was excellent--friendly, supportive, and responsive. The breakfast choices the first day of our stay were extensive but much more limited on subsequent days. The one day I tried an omelet, the chef barely cooked the vegetables. The exercise facility also was excellent, though we only got to use it once. Our biggest complaint was with the Wi-Fi service. It was terrible! During our second stay we were located at the far end of the hotel, and the Wi-Fi reception was spotty at best and frequently interrupted. Several times we had to walk to the lobby to get better service so that we could communicate with local friends and family and make travel arrangements. Please upgrade!

The stay was a bit disappointing. Staff, other than in the breakfast area don't engage. Our room needed lots of repairs - leaky caulking in the shower, water backup in the shower, toilet that runs and we needed someone to come get the AC running and it still didn't work well. Our mattress needed replacement and was torn at the top so the sheets wouldn't stay on and the room was so dark. The furniture was all metal and very cheap. Room smelled mildew. We did get the late check out and the 10$ food credit but we had to ask. Breakfast was ok but very repetitive and the omelette station had a huge wait so we didn't bother. One small bottle of water to day to split by two adults; but really, the tap water was fine. Pool area was nice but the pool was so cold and the hot tub so small. All the couches were tired - front area and in nooks around the hotel. We could have stayed elsewhere for the same price and I'm not sure how it's a 4* hotel unfortunately.
