Kind and helpful staff. They surprised us with an upgraded room, which was very spacious and clean. Delicious breakfast made to order, with some unique options on their menu. Beautiful views of the city and there was hot water in the shower. The only negative during our stay was a loud noise all throughout the night - we think the wind was maybe blowing a tree that was hitting against our roof? Overall good stay.

The service was prompt and courteous, room was spotless, bed was perfect, air conditioning made a perfect nights sleep. The hotel was well designed along a hilltop with gorgeous views of San Jose in a quiet neighborhood from all the rooms and lobby. Art accents added personality. My wife and I stayed here for one night before flying out of SJO. The property is beautiful and the views from the pool and living room are incredible both day and night. The property is in a great location and the history behind it is really interesting. There are a few friendly cats that live on the property (one of them hung out under the pool chairs we were sitting on). The free, made to order breakfast was delicious and quick. The only minor inconvenience we had was that the manual gates to enter the parking area were closed and it was unclear whether we were expected to keep them closed after entering/leaving the property
