Cancelation 4 hours before we arived

My friend was coming out of hospital very in convieneant and disruptive. And it took 3 days to get the refund. Really in the days of instant bank transfers!!! I ended up staying in a place that cost twice as much and not as nice!!! Whos going to refund me for that?
