The hotel apartment had every amenity we required including beach towels, stove, and pots/pans/containers and the communication via Whatsapp was convenient and efficient. The pool and rooftop area is beautiful, just be careful of mosquitos depending on the season. We had a great time and will be back on our next trip to Los Cabos. Keep in mind that you will need transportation to get to the nicer beaches in the area, but this place is great for being near the center of San Jose and enjoying the shops, eateries, and art walk. Also grocery stores and markets are a little far on foot, so getting transportation to the Walmart, Market, or Soriana will most likely be necessary.

Barbara, the concierge was amazing. She responded to questions immediately. Instructions for getting into the apartment were perfect and clear. The whole building, room and amenities were perfect and thoughtful. The kitchen had more than we needed. Apartment was very clean. Bed was super comfy. The infinity pool was AMAZING! The view of the city from the roof was worth it all. The location couldnt have been better. The historic San Jpse downtown was a block from the apartment. A walk to the beach was about 15 minutes. The receptionists were awesome. So friendly.

Overall the property was nice. I took my 2 daughters age 17 and 19 and we booked a 1 bedroom with a pull out. The room was good but no pull out. It was a very small, uncomfortable couch that the back folded down on. There was also no linens provided for it. Needless to say my youngest daughter was not impressed. Also, there were only 2 indoor and 2 pool towels provided. We emailed asking for some additional clean towels mid week but they were never delivered. Lastly, the roof top pool and patio was very nice but there were no umbrellas. It was extremely hot up there with no escape from the sun. Nice property but the small things add up after awhile.

The Lumina is a really nice place to stay. The reason i didnt give 5 stars is because for a one bedroom unit, they say theres a "pull-out" couch. There is not. There is a very short convertible couch that folds down. No mattress. So unless you are 4 feet tall, your legs will not fit because of the armrests. It was incredibly frustrating to assume there'd be a proper pullout couch with an actual mattress for an adult guest, and then realize a short couch was all that was available. They do not clean your room automatically unless requested. We stayed for 2 weeks and did not have our room cleaned. We had to request fresh towels and toilet paper often. Not a huge deal, but just something to note. Everything else was great. If they exchanged the couch situation, would be 5 stars.

We had a great stay at Lumina. It was close to all the action down town and a pretty easy walk to the beach and groceries. The place was clean and full featured. The roof top pool was a great place to hang out even if it wasn't hot enough for us to brave the pool for swimming. I would definitely come back here again!

Perfect location

Great place! Spacious, and clean. The location was perfect. Walking distance to everything! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The only thing missing was a TV in the bedroom and laundry if you stay longer.

New Apt in a great location. There aren’t hotel services if you need that. They are still working the kinks out of the building and I never did get warm water. They told me to just run the shower but running water in a desert for 20 minutes seemed a waste. All said great location and value though.

Sunrise from the rooftop was amazing. We wanted to put the rooftop fire on one night but you need to reserve your “20 minutes” of use, a day ahead. Great having underground parking. Included kitchen items for my week stay were 4 coffee pods and salt/pepper. Very walkable area with lots of music to enjoy.
