When we had issues the hotel never answered the phone. I even tried to go through expedia for support. Expedia was great but they couldn’t get them to take a call either. No pool which was on us. We should have looked at that but still. No pool. Texas is extremely hot. We asked staff where to find local amenities and they were unable to help us at all. End of the day i would not stay here again nor would i recommend this hotel. We should have booked the embassy suites instead.

I knocked one star off because there was work going on right outside our bedroom window on the 10th floor. The work didn’t stop until 7pm Friday evening and it resumed at 7.30am on Saturday. Aside from this, we were very happy with our choice of hotel. It was well situated close to the Alamo and River Walk and the room itself was excellent. Great value for money overall.

Hotel was in a good location. Rooms were clean. The only downside is that parking for the hotel is only through valet parking but that’s most hotels on the Riverwalk.

Great location and great hotel. The morning breakfast is amazing. Chef Ana makes amazing French toast and her pancakes are great too. Jessica and her team keep the dining room stocked with a variety of fruits, pastries, and many other delicious breakfast foods. The rooms are nice a roomy, we had the kitchenette, which is nice for those days when you don’t want to eat out. We had a car so parking was a little tricky as the hotel charges $50 per day to park your car. We found a parking garage next door that is only $10 per day and it was just a 5 minute walk. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The fitness center had enough equipment to make your workouts interesting. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of downtown San Antonio.

The staff is so sweet, the valet parking team is stellar, the hotel is clean and smells great. It's very quiet in the hotel aside from the occasional noise from outside.
