Hotels with Shopping in Salzburg

Super location. Appreciated the AC on the warm day. Double glazing muffles the church bells effectively. Good wifi. One USB-A and USB-C socket provided. Daily housekeeping excellent. Reasonably solid temp control in shower. Umberellas for free rental in reception. Appreciated the free public transport for duration of stay. Made us explore much further. Water quality for kettle/drinking not great. Room 402 has a light out by the TV

We stayed 2 nights in June and loved many things about this hotel. First, it was very close to the train station, which made coming and going with luggage very easy. They included a local bus pass, which was so nice, but we ended up walking to all the locations in Salzburg since they weren't that far from the hotel. The rooms are small but adequate, and the beds are comfortable. The shower is like being in a rainforest with such a large shower head. There is also a hand-held wand that is very convenient, and we always had plenty of hot water. We purchased the breakfast and were very glad we did. It was so convenient and delicious. There was a good variety, very fresh and of high quality. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We were able to keep our luggage in their on-site lockers since we had a tour booked for the last day and would be back after check-out. We enjoyed our time at the Cocoon and would stay there again.

Excellent hotel. Only disappointing thing was not being able to have a drink with a group of five people in the rooftop bar. They were plenty of tables for four and we were told we could only have a drink inside.
