This hotel was chosen based on affordability and central valley location. It didn't need to be special, just a place for a good night's rest. But there's was no rest. The paper thin walls allowed you to hear everything in and around the hotel, the loud people in the pool, the people in the rooms around us, and a stampede upstairs above us that lasted until 4am. It was the worst night of attempting to sleep ever.

Hotel stay from hell

The room was disgustingly dirty and unsanitary. Mold in the shower...stained towels and shower curtains along with feces on the floor. The refrigerator did not work and had a stickiness to the door. The floors throughout the room were filthy and sticky. I dont think the room had been cleaned nor dusted in ages. The breakfast was subpar as well. The waffle mix was empty and the coffee ran out. All the juices were warm and muffins were hard. When we brought this to the manager at the front desks attention....GG. laughed in our face and told us to go stay at a 5star hotel in stead. He told me he would refund 1 night for checking out early and i would need to call hotels.com/expedia to get it. Totally disappointing as this was an early birthday trip for myself to spend time w my family.

The first room they put us in smelled like dirty old cat pee, the second room was a little better but still smelled bad. The photos online definitely show it looking better than a run down motel but the actual room I wouldn’t rate it any better than that. Luckily we were gone most of the night. The keycards didn’t work for the outside doors, just for the room.

I would not recommend

I hate to leave such a bad review but it’s important that you know. I don’t remember the room number but please check the room I stayed in (Laura Martin arrival July 4th). The shower faucet was half broken off, hair on the top bed sheet, one of the sliding closet doors is completely missing, the bottom of the couch in the room has cloth/fabric that has been ripped and torn and hanging out. The overall condition was really bad so much so that we didn’t even try the continental breakfast that was included. We were next to some type of hvac closet so it was super loud the whole time, you could hear the people above you walking with the creaking. Would never recommend. We checked in after a very long day of travel exhausted at 11p or we would’ve left. Had to go find the checkin girl on her phone at the pool to have her assist me with a new key when it stopped working and my son had a bloody nose. The next night I had to suggest she call security because drunks out front in the parking lot were about to get into a fight. I work in hospitality at a casino hotel in Atlantic City so I try not to complain but this stay was really bad!

Reserved a suite, was told that the suite was not pet friendly (even though dogs were documented on the reservation), so we were changed to a double queen room. I should’ve called to confirm, so that is my mistake. Check in was helpful and we easily got a new room. Floors and walls in the room were gross. Had lots of what looks like fingernail polish on the walls. Looks like someone smashed a bug in several places on the walls but did not clean it up. Bathroom shower was the worst - the amount of mold on the ceiling and in the trim of the shower was a lot. Beds seemed good, they appeared clean uncomfortable. The property was accommodating for my two dogs; dogs are $35/dog.
