This is the second Days Inn by Wyndham that we have stayed in in the past 2 years and it must be a lower end hotel chain. Both stays we had ants in our room. Numerous ants. To the point that we had to put all of our belongings up on the tables to avoid bringing them home with us. This room was large, which was the saving grace. The room smelled very musty, like mold or mildew. We were kept up all night with noise in the hallway. Each door that closed, echoed through the room. The pool area also needs some sort of person limit or supervision. A group of 3 adults and approx 15 roudy, screaming children entered while we were there, to the point that we were ready to leave after 5 mins. Luckily we let our kids play for a few more minutes, because a young girl (who was with the grossly outnumbered adults) was discovered floating unconscious in the pool. My husband jumped in and pulled her out, and another couple began cpr. After about 2 minutes of chest compressions, she luckily came to. I hope she's doing okay now. Clearly the adults couldn't swim because the mother just yelled from outside of the pool. It's not the hotel's fault that the parents were unsafe and allowed children who also couldn't swim, go in the pool unsupervised. But perhaps have someone monitor the pool area and enforce stricter rules regarding pool use. A young girl would've lost her life had we not been there and asked if she was okay. The hotel overall was run down and dirty. Looked nothing like the photos online. The pool was disgusting. Dirt and hair balls floating everywhere, they don’t use chlorine so it smelled like pee and the pool was nothing like the photos. The pool deck was dirty and unlevel causing people to slip. My daughter broke out in a rash after the pool.

The staff were really great. When I first got there I didn’t realize I had a ground floor room until I got there and they changed it for me. It was faster to walk outside to get to the side of the building I was staying so I did find it quite icy especially walking with my luggage. The price I find reflects the rooms.
