What I didn't like was a destination fee of 20 dollars, I guess is like Las Vegas resort fee. Also they should have waved covered parking because of all the construction in the area with very limited parking near by.

The staff were really nice and the room is exactly as it was described. The bathroom was bigger than most Parisian hotel rooms. It has central air, not a noisy AC unit attached to the side of the room. It's definitely a big step up from most other hotels in the area. You'll pay twice as much to stay in Nelson for a much lower quality room (Summer Rates).

Will not accept debit card.

At check in the hotel refused to accept a debit or anything other than a credit card for incidentals. Would of lost prepaid stay if I did not borrow a friend’s credit card. I will not stay here again. Never had this problem at any other hotel.

Property is new and beautiful. Rooms are updated and comfortable. Service was excellent. Hotel amenities also excellent. Location great for skiing or bike trails. Need your car to dine in Rossland or go to hiking trails. A lot of construction in the immediate area.

Overall a decent property, however there were a few issues. It's a bit off the grid in that you have to drive down a dirt road for a while to get there. The entire area is under construction and as we were almost there I had to back up for almost 100 meters to allow another vehicle to get out before I could proceed. The so called free self parking is a fair walk into a dirt area. I was given another option in the underground garage which I chose because as the check-in guy offered one or the other he quickly added that the hotel is not responsible... I found this method somewhat tactless to be honest. Last, we had free breakfast with our room and even with previously reading negative reviews I didn't think anyone could screw up breakfast. I was wrong. Over easy eggs were over hard and burnt. Sourdough toast were very burnt. A few sausage links also very overcooked. Last, I chose a diet coke for my drink choice and it was flat. My wife had a waffle with chicken which was okay, except... Yes, the waffle was burnt. Dear Manager, please note that there is something wrong with your restaurant! We will not be returning to this property.

I paid extra to have a mountain view and I got a view of the parking lot even after double asking at front desk about my view they assured me that my room was considered mountain view. Also paying an extra $15 to park underground when there is only 8 parking spots in front of the hotel is not acceptable.
