The staff was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. Let us park the motorcycles in the garage. The only downside was there was a bike race going on and so a limited menu in the restaurant. A lot of construction going on right now, hopefully more shops and restaurants as it is too far from town to walk.

Our stay at The Josie was excellent. The staff were professional, the rooms were beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed all our meals and the service. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in the Rossland area

First time visit to Red Mountain. Beautiful! Team Summer on Red Mountain all the way! Biking, hiking and wildflowers. Can see would be a great place to visit/ski in Winter for all you Team Winter people. Haha. Everything top notch! Lots of improvement changes happening this hill and the staff at the Josie are very accepting and accommodating to find solutions to complicating factors of construction in the area.

We (my mom and I) stayed at the Josie hotel for 1 night after a long drive from the Coast. It is located at Red Mountain just off the highway. We had a lovely room with nice views overlooking the mountain and ski lift. The room was clean, modern, spacious, with comfortable beds, and had all the necessities. Our BIG issue was the lack of lighting within the room. Even with the curtains fully opened and all the lights on, the room is dark and difficult to navigate, especially for my 85 year old mom. I understand the hotel is geared for skiing/ biking guests, but having the option of having more lighting would be very beneficial to guests of every age, especially given the cost of staying here. Even brighter light bulbs might help. There is a lot of construction around the hotel, which is great for Red Mountain resort, but not great for walkability at this time. Other than these issues, The Josie is a great hotel.

We had a spur of the moment stay here and were so impressed with it. The hotel itself is nice a new, thoughtfully decorated, and very clean. The staff were lovely and attentive. The food was great, and they have lots of amenities and activities for guests to take part in. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Lovely very new hotel. A bit cavernous, but lovely amenities. 10 minutes from town bit right on the mountain. Great for skiing and hiking recommended!

From the front desk, elevators, halls, room, bed, breakfast, and checkout, everything was a 5 star. The only glitch that was a bit odd is that we had to call the front desk to get into the parking garage.
