The girl at the front desk was quite rude and snobbish towards me. The guy in front of me was able to secure free breakfast and a room upgrade after a fancy conversation with her . Now I wasn’t looking forward for anything free and made a joke with her about my free breakfast only to get a very rude response. Secondly we asked for third set of towels as the room was booked for 3 of us and same receptionist didn’t send it up until we had we called late the night. The room was dirty on chek in as it was not cleaned properly and had to be cleaned again which was promptly facilities by the supervisor and not the rude receptionist. I’m very disappointed by the service met out to me by Prestige Inn and will not be staying nor recommending here in the future.

This property was conveniently located. The building is a bit run down, the AC is very loud and the parking was cramped. Not enough spots and the parking spaces weren’t wide enough. For the price we probably wouldn’t stay here again although we did appreciate being across the street from the park and walkway

The hotel is nice comfortable. It does lie on a train route At three am the train goes by. They offer free ear plugs. We didn't take them. Didn't need them. Train blew it's hirn three short peeps. Our air-conditioning kicked in so we didn't hear the train after that.

Great property location, we got a room with balcony overlooking the water. There’s a lovely park to walk through next door. Even though we were warned about train noise, we did not hear either train come through.

The bathroom was disgusting. The light switch and door frame were black and filthy. The fan had holes around it into the ceiling which was questionable. The bed was angled on a downward slope towards the head of the bed so our feet were higher than our heads. The room wasn't overly clean either so I slept in clothes. Aside from the cleanliness, it is also advertised as having a pool and hot tub when in reality, the pool and hot tub are at the other Prestige Hotel about 3 blocks away which apparently we could have used....ridiculous!

Great location

The location is great and the rooms have a beautiful view of the river and the bridge. Streetcar 23 runs past the hotel along the River. The stop with schedule is across from Save in foods. There are grocery stores within a couple minutes walk. The kitchenette is small but you can make meals. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. There is coffee available in the lobby.

The Hotel does not have enough parking spot for the amount of rooms it has. You need to use the stairs to use the evevator. Only one handicap spot.

Baseboards in bathroom were very dirty. Very limited water flow in the shower. Fridge and microwave in very awkward setup. Not enough parking. Poor clothing storage. Had to put suitcases on the floor. For the price of the room, we would expect better. Bed was comfortable, Staff was very nice, no complaints regarding them.

Our room was small, but because it had a little patio it didn’t bother us. We sat out every morning and evening enjoying the lake view. The only down side was our room was not ready for 4:00 check in. We had to wait till 5:00 which after an 8 hour drive we were tired. But would stay there again if we were coming to Nelson again.

Definitely enjoyable!

I would definitely consider returning to this hotel. The only thing I'd say is that the coffee provided in the room is not very good, but there are so many great coffee places in Nelson that it's an easy remedy. Bed, pillows and sheets were great.
