The Hume is a fantastic option to stay in Nelson. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were very unique and clean. Dara was very helpful during our stay and made it a 5-star experience.

The property had plenty of restaurants / bars. Atmosphere was warm and friendly. Staff was very warm and friendly. the room was smallish (european style i guess). The only drawback i saw was parking. The hotel said "No parking". but said there was street parking etc. I wish they would make a deal with a local parking lot / garage where i could pay the hotel to park overnight.

Hotel was amazing. Lots of history great food and pricing. The only downfall was the ac wasn’t working and the room was hot being on the top floor.

Has night club with live music in basement at a reasonable price. We stayed so we could enjoy BCDC tribute band but power went out in Nelson just as they were going to start. Disappointed but winter weather to blame.
