Nice cottage, classified on 3*, completely restored with tasteful decoration and spacious rooms for this stone house located in a working vineyard. Wine tasting and visit in the wineyard with a winemaker in the vineyard (as linguistic capacity each).
The Domaine is located on the outskirts of the village of Conilhac la montagne, in the heart of Cathar country, in the wilderness. Ideal starting point for many hikes and discoveries for both natural and cultural. The proximity of the famous city of Carcassonne and the famous Canal du Midi (both World Heritage by UNESCO), the Cathar castles and mysterious Abbey of Rennes le Chateau, reflect a rich heritage. Nature is everywhere : huge forests, hiking trails, mountain biking paths, water sports, tennis ... and here you are at the heart of a great vineyard, the Blanquette de Limoux.
The cottage of 100 m² is comfortably equipped for 6 people with private pool. It is semi attached with an unused building in a Domaine of 5 hectares. You have a private area of 1000 m² at the back of the cottage with a private pool of 7,30 mx3,50m with a depth between 1.10m to 1.60m. Secured by an alarm, it is open from mai to end of september.
Ground floor : large living room of 50 m² with living area, spacious kitchen, dining area and independant toilets. Old wooden staircase.
1st floor : 1 kingsize bedroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 indepandant shower room and independant toilets. 4 fans at your disposal.
Beautiful views of the countryside. Sorry pets are not allowed.

Difference with description
No internet wifi available in the house , as workaround an iphone with hotspot with poor 4g was offered by the kind owners.
France villa presented itself as property owner, but was in the end a intermediair. Communication was forced to outside vbro communication channel.
Property was presented as a solitair property with privacy also after explicit re-check with France Villa . In reality the (kind) property owners were living very close by on the same location.
Surprisingly the Rental pricing difference were on the website of France villa ca 15-20% cheaper compared with pricing through vbro.
In short the discription on vbro and therefor expectations were different compared with the actual experience.
Despite the before mentioned remarks We experienced a warm welcome and attitude of the property owners at the place

Très beau gite bien équipé
Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse des propriétaires ainsi que l'environnement naturel et le calme. L'équipement très complet du gite et simple d'utilisation (2 types de cafétières, expresso et classique par exemple) aussi bien en intérieur qu'en extérieur, la jolie décoration et le cachet du bâtiment et les espaces intérieurs. La literie est également très bonne. Nous avons également tout particulièrement apprécié le fait que tout le linge de maison soit inclus (literie, cuisine, salle d'eau), ce qui est assez rare dans les gites. Nous recommandons cette location aux familles ou amis.
