Bright and charming

The terrace plantings were beautifully maintained and the terrace itself very spacious. With windows on three sides, but still plenty of privacy because of its 6th floor location, the apartment was very bright and comfortable. Pradeep the doorman, who has been with the building for 20 years and takes care of the gardening, was a wonderful surprise; charming, friendly, and very responsive to any concerns. The location provided reasonable walking access to many of the important sites in Rome, but was not dominated by tourists like neighborhoods to the north, and so one could get a bette feel for how the Romans live.
