When we first arrived we were told they had to love us to their sister hotel because they had no AC and it needed to be repaired. But we returned later in the week and it was better. I was underwhelmed with the facilities. The sister hotel was much better but its location was far. The best part of the Bolivar was its location.

Room was cramped and small for 270$/day charge. Not a 4 star hotel as mentioned in Expedia. Location is good though - lots of tourist attractions closeby. I would recommend staying here if you get a room for 2 at ~130-150$.

We booked a room that had three beds upon arrival found out. It did not have three beds and they said none of their rooms do but the description of the triple room showed a king a queen and a full bed.

The Hotel was hiding in a tight side street, but we found it. Once checked in the staff was very helpful and the room was clean with a very spacious and beautiful Terrace/Balcony and view.

The hotel is in a perfect location to access all the famous city centre sites on foot ... within a few minutes from the hotel you can be looking at places like the Roman Forum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and much more. There are a great choice of restaurants & bars nearby too. The staff in the hotel are very nice and helpful. The hotel is old and the rooms I had a few quirks such as the bathroom had an odd shape and felt a little cramped but that was a minor issue. Breakfast was not special but adequate enough to get you ready for the day. One thing to be aware of, the hotel is tucked away down a narrow street from one side and lot of steps from the other side.

Very quiet location perfectly situated to go to most of the attractions. Farthest was the Vatican (20 min walk) but most within 10 min walk. A little hard to find at first (glad I had a car pick me up). About 20 min walk to main train station. I would definitely stay again. And the buffet breakfast was great!

Perfect Location

Good location and very close to most attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was so so. There was no coffee or tea in the room and not even in the lobby. There was a bar in the lobby which you could purchase tea or coffee. For the high price that they charge, should have been available for free.
