Nice apartment. It was close to the colosseum, roman forum, as well as the train station and metro lines. Staff was responsive and very helpful.

Don't book this hotel. False Advertisement!!

Do not stay at this hotel. It advertise that it has AC and WiFi but it didn't. My family had to endure 90 degree heat in the middle of a heat wave. The hot water was unstable and so is the water pressure of the shower. We suffered while we were there! I give 0 star to this poor hotel in terrible condition. Don't book this hotel. The only positive is its location which is very close to Roma Termini.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I’m not even sure where to start. DO NOT BE LIKE ME AND BE NAIVE. I read reviews saying this hotel was bad but I decided to not believe them. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. •BROKEN AC in 100+ weather •Staff was not multilingual like they claimed to be •NO toiletries like they claimed •Room was dirty and we felt gross staying there as well broken electrical covers which were just taped back in place •Bugs found in shower+bathroom area •Shower head was broken so we had to hold by hand whilst showering and water only stayed warm for about 10 mins •Fridge smelled like mold and expired milk which made the whole room smell •Neighboring rooms were smoking inside room which made its way into our room •Hotel was in a shady alleyway with no street lights •Rooms looked NOTHING like the pictures posted •Beds were the stiffest most uncomfortable beds i’ve ever slept in •The elevator was literally a 3x5 foot box which was insanely difficult to fit only 2 people inside and felt like it could collapse at any second All in all staying at this hotel made us both look forward to leaving Rome which is not at all how someone should feel on vacation. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a better hotel.

Very easy check in with kind folks. Room is dated and needed some cleaning. Hot water wasn't working. We just needed a place to lay our heads and quickly jump on train in the morning. This worked great for that.

Location was ok. Elevator and building had character. Hostess was friendly and helpful. Apartment did not have good lighting in most the bedrooms, broken fans, marked up walls, trickling shower and non-working outlets. Needs a lot of TLC.

Staff was nice. It was a basic room with very few amenities but it was enough for a short stay. The water pressure is very weak though, especially the shower.

Nice room and location no toiletries or water

The room was small but neat. The only problem we faced was lack of any toiletries.. Only a hand wash and bathing towels was all we had. Location was good as well and the receptionist Tatiana was very helpful, and gave a detailed introduction of the city and the public transport..

Very friendly staff, nice eclectics, TV, fridge. Bed was comfortable enough, bad quality pillows mind. Shower head was broken and pipes exposed from boiler to faucet (burned my hand a few times) Area was ok, bit scruffy but very close to everything you can want (5 min walk to termini and nationale0

Cozy and Delightful, 30 Minute Walk to Everything

It's a 10-minute walk from Roma Termini and tucked into a quiet area by the German, Russian, British, and Turkish embassies. Marked only by a modest label of "Booking House" by the buzzer, it's clean, small, and quite perfect. Tatiana is quite possibly the most pleasant people I have met in my travels. She took the time to give us a map and show us the best routes to all the Roman destinations we had time for in our short stay, as well as outlining the best way to take the metro and how to get to the airport. Our room was perfect for two people. It was sunny and had a good atmosphere. The bathroom was clean and functional, and the water had good pressure. All-in-all, for the rates that we stayed and the reasonable distance (30 minutes on foot to the Colosseum), it is a place I'd explicitly recommend to any of my friends who find themselves in Rome one day.

A really bad experience

When I arrived at the Booking House Hotel, the receptionist (who spoke no English or Spanish and I speak close to cero Italian), gave me a map with a drawn line and told me that I had to go to another hotel that was 5 minutes away. I couldn't find that hotel and ended up walking for about 40 minutes looking for it. No one knew where the the hotel was, when I asked around the area. When I finally found it, the room they gave me there looked nothing like the pictures from the website. It was the most outdated and scary room I've ever seen. I went to the receptionist to ask for an explanation and they told me that I had to talk to the person on Booking House. I went back there and tried to communicate my frustration and anger to the receptionist. After a while, she understood what I was trying to say and gave me one of the rooms shown in the pictures of hotels.com. That room was fine so I had to get back and get my luggage out of the scary room and then come back to the Booking House again. The area seemed a little shady and it was getting dark. Apparently they had oversold rooms at the Booking House and, since I got there first, they ended up giving me a room that was meant to be for another person. The receptionist at Booking House seemed nice but that whole mess of having to walk back and forth from hotels and the miscommunication ruined my first day in Rome.

La habitación olía a humo, wifi una noche entera sin funcionar y lo peor de todo, la persona al teléfono de la recepción nos quiso dejar en la calle ("vuelve mañana me dijo") por no haber avisado que llegamos 1 hora y media tarde después del horario check in, 21:50. Tras varios minutos rogando que nos dejara quedarnos por teléfono, nos dijo que enviaría a alguien a abrirnos la puerta, y que pagaríamos 15 euros extra. Si nos lo hubiera dicho desde el principio nos hubiéramos ahorrado el mal rato de pensar que nos quedábamos en la calle.
