ATRHOME Loft Studio Canova

The apartment is located inside Studio Canova, just behind Via del Corso. The entire building was property of the neoclassical sculptor Antonio Canova during the 18th century. The sculptor organized a real old-fashioned workshop working together many other artists.

Archaeological study finds were also housed, which are now partially walled into the external walls of the building.

Now is a private building , but it is under the safe of the National State since 1953 as heritage of historical and artistic interest. In 1978 it was transformed into an art gallery.

Today thanks to ATHROME all guests can fully enjoy it staying in a splendid renovated “industrial style” loft expertly furnished and finely finished. It is equipped with all services that enhance both comfort and originality at the same time.

The apartment is spread over e two classic levels loft, open-space downstairs with large living room with hidden double bed and a fully equipped kitchen, the sleeping area upstairs includes other two comfortable bedrooms.

Fantastic location!
My daughters and I had a great experience once we arrived at the apartment. It was close to everything and a great section of the city. We had some miscommunication with the host about the check in and tourist tax (we were not told there was a tax).

Comfortable and quiet apartment in the heart of Rome
The location of this spacious apartment was great. It was a convenient walk to cafes and to the city centre, while also being quiet. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. The only drawback was having to go down a winding staircase to get to the washroom from the bedrooms. But we were aware of that from the description.

A couple of things
Stairway up to the loft a bit tricky with the 1/2 step which caused a fall and injury. Both to the foot and arm as the steel cable used for the railing caused a bad scratch on the arm. We also didn’t know and were not prepared for the tourist tax told to until the morning of departure. For what we paid for this loft we thought that would have been included as part of the costs. Luckily we had Euros left over but on Sunday morning impossible to make change. This should be left in the advertisement as an extra cost or better yet be part of the amount agreed upon when accepting booking. I guess we’ll know another time. Now we know!!!!

ATRHOME Rome Loft
Clean, spacious upstairs loft bedrooms, close to nearly all the main attractions in Rome. Bathroom is on the smaller side but still functional. We would definitely stay there again with our family of 4.

Great Stay in Rome
We only booked one night at this apartment before we flew out the next day, but this is a great find! The location is amazing! Steps from Via del Corso and near the Spanish steps!
