Bring your own soap
There was no soap. Arrived after midnight, so didn't make an issue. Washed hands with shampoo and hand sanitizer i had brought. Shower in morning used shampoo as body wash because body wash dispenser was empty. TV didnt work and a lamp was .missing a shade. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean.

The room was ok
The hotel was ok, basically in todays world we recieved what we paid for. Some of the finishing were ok but not quality. There were no wash cloths and only one hand towel, There was 2 bath towels. It appeared that maybe the hotel was doing some remodeling. If this is the case maybe they should consider upgrade the quality of items unless their plan is to be doing on going remodeling. The hotel is convient to I 95

Disappointing Stop
Disappointing stop. Desk agent was out when we arrived. Stairs to the second floor are dangerous. Dumpster over flowing with old furniture and garbage in parking lot. Room was not clean and not well maintained and was supposed to be non-smoking, but was not. . Television did not work. So sad that there are no standards any more.

Rude Desk Clerk & False Amenities
My stay was fine from that Friday til Tuesday afternoon.The front desk clerk Stephanie is VERY rude and needs customer service training ASAP! I asked for her boss that she threatened to call on me along with the police for their negligence and incompetence. I was charged twice for a room along with a late fee due to a mistake made by another desk clerk named James. Around 3pm the visit went to hell. She barged into my room demanding payment for $60 for that day when I paid for 3 days! Mind you the room key was still active and I had just received clean towels from housekeeping about a hour before, yet she says I supposed to be checked out. After she received payment says the other was reversed? Make that make sense. I’m waiting now to see if payment was sent back to bank. I hate to say it but she needs to be fired. She didn’t let me say anything. Best way to kill ignorance is pay it and inform others. I can imagine the people she’s ran off with that behavior. All she had to do was ask if we can resolve this issue instead of demanding money, threatening to call the police & her boss. Customer service experience is a MUST in her line of business. She has NONE. I came for peace & quiet to do some work for my job. I haven’t seen the fitness room opened at all in a weeks stay. Very disappointing!!

The good and the bad.
The breakfast was well above average for this type of hotel, the bed was comfy and the lady at the check in was very helpful. After that the review goes down hill. The property is very poorly maintained, everything looks old. Our smoke free room smelled of smoke.

We booked our rooms and pre paid and were charged the full amount. When we arrived after a 14 hour drive, we see that the front door was locked, we rang the bell many times and waited and after a while a hotel staff came and let us know that they were fully booked and did not have rooms for us! We stood with all of our luggage and waited a while as she said she will try and then went away. Ultimately we did not get any rooms! The explanation was that people who booked before us got the rooms. Why would they take our money for the rooms if they didn't have the rooms. We had to scramble and find last moment more expensive rooms!
