Congratulations to housekeeping team, the hotel was spotless and well-maintained. Room was excellent. Pub part think William Morris theme, a bit dark for my liking. Breakfast was ok, but the one evening meal we had was disappointing.

Lovely staff greeted us on arrival at The Ripon Inn reception. The hotel was very nicely furnished and decorated, clean and inviting. The grounds outside were lovely, the gardens were well kept and tidy with ample seating inside and out. Our double room was exceptionally clean and had all the facilities we needed - maybe a small fridge would be a good addition just so we could store some cold water etc. Breakfast in the morning was self service buffet. There was enough variety of everything to choose from and it was all hot/cold as intended. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again should we be in the area.

The breakfast menu was all fresh, I was particularly impressed with the freshly prepared fruit but it was all very good. My only suggestions would be to include a bar of soap in the bathroom and an alternative to black tea and coffee in the bedroom as I cannot drink either option. In fairness I had brought my own herbal tea bags as I know it can be a problem.

What a lovely hotel, Clean hotel, Staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast was very good. Other meals expensive but good. Always seen people in and out. I requested a ground floor room with a walk in shower. I had what I requested and what a lovely room. Town just down the road. Just a small walk away Free bus by the bus station to the racecourse Had a lovely day there. All in all what a great and enjoyable stay at Ripon, Thank you team

Had a one night stay whilst visiting friends near Ripon. The hotel was easy to find and check-in was very straightforward. Our room was very well presented and modern. Very comfortable bed and plenty of tea and coffee with complementary biscuits. Bathroom was clean, ample towels and hand-wash, conditioner and shower gels were higher-end than you would expect. Room overlooked the sizable gardens which were well kept. Evening meal was excellent from a good choice of dishes. Good choice of beers too. I must compliment the staff who were always cheerful and efficient, from the cleaning ladies in the rooms to the bar and waiting staff. Nothing was too much trouble which was noticeable and such a pleasant change from other hotels we have visited. The decor was also excellent. Made the stay feel very comfortable and relaxing. Well done to all - we will be more than happy to come back.

Very clean, all the staff were friendly even though it was very busy in the build up to new year. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great. Chose it mainly cos it was dog friendly but would certainty go back without the dogs, is a short walk into Ripon centre and there looked to be lots of nice bars and restaurants.
