The bed was comfortable. Kitchen was decently equipped. We had a 1 bedroom apartment and there was a TV in bedroom but but the living room - which we didn't like. The Wifi is not secure... no password, which we find shocking in this day and age. This place is clean on the surface but don't look closer than that - dust everywhere... look at the headboard behind the pillows and there is a shocking amount of dust, same with the baseboards. We stayed 5 nights and the fire alarm went off 2 nights waking us from a sound sleep both times. Be sure to read fire alarm instructions - no one is coming to tell you it's OK to go back in the building... We felt safe here and were able to walk all over the place. Easy access in and out of town if you're driving.

This apartment is a gem!! It is located beside “bus stop 12” and we were picked up there for all of our excursions so extremely convenient. The apartment itself was perfect for our party of 3 and it had everything we needed for our stay. We took a short walk to a grocery store and made quite a few meals in the well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer were a bonus! I highly recommend!!!

The Sif Apartments was an excellent choice! The place is extremely clean, well equipped. Place is great located... bus stop #12 is just around the corner (most of the excursions companies can pick you up from there). 10-15 min walk to the most of Reykjavík's attractions... lots of places to grab bite to eat around. Communication with Sif Apparrtments very smooth and pleasant!

We chose this property on a whim and were very pleased upon arrival. Bus Stop 12 is right out the door which is very convenient for most tours and there is an amazing coffee shop right around the corner! We were able to walk to downtown Reykjavik daily with minimal effort. We had a small issue with luggage storage code on our checkout day but quickly received assistance via email. I would highly recommend this property!

The property is good and location is good. The only thing i would like to complain is the balcony door. It closed but there is a small gap so during our stay the wind was strong and at night i couldnt sleep because of the loud noise when the wind came from the gap

Sif was an outstanding place to stay! The property was spacious and clean and had everything for a family of four. Location was impeccable - walkable to all of the major sites and Reykjavík. The apartment was super quiet! Everything from the moment that we drove into the parking garage to the moment we left. As far as we’re concerned, this is the best family accommodation in Iceland. This unit was clean, tidy and stocked with a full kitchen! The beds were comfortable and we had a very enjoyable stay! The only downside, and it's a personal preference, is that we could not lower the temperature of the apartment. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!

The apartment is large, enough space for two adult and 3 teenagers it’s in a nice quiet location with the shops in walking distance,it’s one of the nicest apartments that we stayed in on our vacation in Europe, our flight was cancelled due to weather and needed a extra night and the management couldn’t of been any more helpful very quick to respond for any of our needs I would of given a lot more star if I was allowed thanks for a very enjoyable stay

Loved the apartment. All of it! Heated floors where great and having a full kitchen was fantastic. I will definitely come back and stay here! Only problem was the frying pan was falling apart and could not use it. Loved the heating in the bathroom.

Our group of four enjoyed our stay at the Sif Apartments. The building looks brand new. It's situated just about a mile from most of the crowded spots of Reykjavik. We had a rental car so getting around was no problem. The building and our rooms were overall very quiet, but there was an unexplained fire alarm one night that went on for about 10 minutes. Just as I got all the way to the entrance from my 6th-floor room, it stopped. One thing that was tricky was the parking garage. Finding the entrance was easy, however, we had two stressful situations regarding the garage. First, it is an absolutely humongous garage that is laid out in a very confusing way. It connects to many different buildings including offices and restaurants, so it's very challenging to navigate yourself to the Sif Apt building. Plus, you have to actually enter the building from the outside main entrance since the front door code does not work on the doors in the garage. On top of that, you have to then remember the maze to find your car when you want to go somewhere. You might want to give yourself at least an extra 5 minutes to find it...no joke. Second, make sure you know how you're going to pay. You can do it via the Parka app or at one of the kiosks in the garage. Our first kiosk apparently wasn't working properly but it took us several tries before we realized that. Luckily, we found a different kiosk and it worked just fine. The Parka app is much more convenient and trouble-free.

Great option for travelling with teens

Great option for travelling with teens, we had 2 large bedrooms so everyone could spread out, much better than a hotel setup! Accommodation was modern, immaculate, shower was fantastic, beds super comfy, kitchen had all amenities needed. Location is also great, right next to bus stop 12 where loads of tours pick up from. 5 mins walk to seafront. Highly recommend SIF Apartments, literally ticked all our boxes and was very reasonably priced too!
