Just adequate stay; breakfast option poor

This was the third hotel we stayed at in Reykjavik. It was not as good as the others - noisy due to street traffic, breakfast not great, room not very comfortable. If you’re on a tight budget, the hotel is OK, but definitely worth spending a little more to get a higher quality hotel.

This property is in good location. The room is clean. Breakfast is good. Limited free parking space available on site. But you can park in the garage in the opposite of the street that cost you around $18 USD a night.

Very nice clean hotel in great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff is nice, the room was clean, spacious and very quiet. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. They provide a nice breakfast with lots of selection and you can get early morning coffee and croissants at reception upon request for an early departure. We loved the location right at the end of the main Laugavegur shopping and business street with lots of shops and restaurants. Main bus stop was just outside the hotel and the main bus terminal is within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location - end of shopping district street, one of the main bus pick-up spots is right outside the door, area is very walkable. While generally safe area, it was extremely noisy at night (nearby bar or clubs? / or maybe just the eternal daylight keeping people up all night). Also, it was on the warm side when we were there (no A/C). Was a narrow vertical window to get some fresh air, but that just allowed too much of the street noise in (our room faced street). Otherwise the staff is very pleasant and helpful and facilities in very nice condition.

This hotel is at a very good location without being in the absolute center of the crowded shopping district. Still, all the things you want to do are within walking distance. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff is helpful and friendly. The room we had was rather small, which in itself was not a problem, but I’m not a fan of the layout. There was no place to open up your luggage without blocking the path around the bed. Storage was minimal and there was not enough space under the bed to place your luggage when not in use. The blackout curtains did a nice job of blocking out the midnight sun so that could get proper rest. The bathroom was good, but the shower was very small and dark since lighting was minimal and the dark gray shower curtain filtered out most of the light. The included a buffet breakfast, which was excellent - a great way to start off your morning.
