Easy check in. The room was clean but a bit odd. No bed spread on the bed, very poor wi-fi, TV was tricky to turn on and it took a long time to get hot water for a shower. However, there was an extra blanket, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. The property is so cute and well maintained and you can't beat the price.

This was like home away from home. The room had many windows, very clean and the hotel itself was very welcoming. The best breakfast. I would highly recommend as it was perfect and not to mention centrally located, lots of places to ear nearby.

Older property but well maintained. The owner Dewald was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Also very receptive to any issues with stay. Grounds are very nice with trails behind hotel. It lives up to its name with the beautiful views of Mt. Jefferson. Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Perfect Place to Stay When Hiking in the Area

We’ve come back to this hotel because the people are incredibly nice, accommodating and the place is in perfect proximity to the hiking that we are there to do. It’s convenient, clean and comfortable. It’s not the Biltmore, but that’s not what we want. It met our needs and we will return again!
