Beautiful place to stay. Would have loved not to have do the stairs to our room as we had a pram and a toddler but everything else was amazing. Definitely a five star hotel

Hotel located near central town with fine facilities: nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the bay. We were not happy with our room location, room 602, view to street so no way to open windows. For the price-value, there are other options.

The fireplace in the lobby is irresistible, and the couches and interior decor are modern but cosy (the fireplace was what drew me to pick St Moritz and it didn’t disappoint). Loved the room which was more spacious than expected with a super comfy king bed and large shower. The hotel is very environmentally conscious so don't expect slippers or disposable milk pods (you have to request it from reception). There is a complimentary tote bag for guests, which is a nice touch. I also liked the incentive to provide dining vouchers at the hotel restaurant, Lombardi, if guests choose to forgo having their room serviced. Lombardi boasts a breathtaking view of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. A wonderful hotel.

It’s just okay
The hotel was okay. I stayed in different (exceptional) hotel in the area a week earlier and wish I would have gone back there. This one was just okay, it’s more of a standard hotel - almost like a Holiday Inn feeling. Nothing extra or special about it. The price at the previous hotel was not that different and leaps and bounds above in setting and amenities.

This was an amazing hotel to stay at. The rooms were beautifully styled with a beautiful view. The bed and pillows were high quality. And the showers had great water pressure which is always hard to find in a hotel stay. Can’t wait to bring our kids back for a visit

Very nice property. Rooms are a nice size. Only issue is that it is an uphill walk to the hotel from the Queenstown Harbour. Would be nice if they had a shuttle to take you up the steep hill for those who walk.

The hotel is on a steep hill. The hotel staffs are super friendly, and on site restaurant is very nice. We especially enjoyed the egg station and pancake station. My room is facing the back, a little noisy.

The hotel is beautiful and has a great location near the town center and a great view of the lake. The staff always tried their best to provide the best service. Some issues, however: - The room cleaning could have been done better. We would constantly find trash or misplaced things. - For some reason, the cleaning staff would leave vacuum cleaners on the halls of the hotel, which became risky obstacle courses. - Finally, I don't know if it was a city-wide issue, but tap water was unsafe to drink, and we had to boil it daily. The cleaning staff never refilled the kettle or provided clean water in the room, which was a nuisance.

Room was terrific, best bed and pillows of our trip. Parking was very convenient and is an easy walk into town. Only issue was the bar manager who was serving us - he seemed very stressed and the drinks we were served were very disappointing- all other staff we had contact with were outstanding.
