Overall, had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Ziva. The service from the staff was spectacular for the most part. My only criticisms of the hotel would be the following: kayaks need to be more available, broken pool tiles need to be fixed, play more music regularly in the pool area.

My recent stay at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta was overall a great experience, but there were a few surprises worth mentioning. The resort itself is beautiful — tucked away on a private beach surrounded by lush hills, it feels like a peaceful escape. The beach is clean and well-maintained, and there’s plenty of room to relax without feeling crowded. The service was excellent across the board. Staff were friendly, professional, and always eager to help, whether we were lounging by the pool or dining at one of the restaurants. The food and drink options were good, but one thing to be aware of: even though it’s advertised as all-inclusive, there were extra charges for “premium” drinks and certain food options. If you wanted top-shelf liquor, better wine, or specific menu items, you had to pay additional fees, which was a bit disappointing. It’s something I wish had been more clearly explained up front. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had stunning ocean views. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was a highlight of the trip. Overall, Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful resort with great service and a relaxing atmosphere. Just keep in mind that not everything is included in the “all-inclusive” price. The greeting was amazing with cold neck towels and popsicles. The property had some construction going on during the day that was noisy but if that is my biggest complaint, that’s not a complaint. They could offer a little discount for the noise though. The restaurants were all amazing, the staff is so friendly and attentive. The performances and activities were great. Never waited in line anywhere. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it! The food was consistently delicious with plenty of variety, and the service throughout the resort was excellent. Our room was spotless, modern, and featured breathtaking views of the ocean—waking up to the sound of the waves each morning was a highlight. The location is perfect—tucked away in its own private cove yet just a short drive to Old Town, which made it easy to explore the local charm and culture. One small heads-up: if you're staying on the upper floors, you might hear a bit of construction noise during the day, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

This was a great all inclusive property. We mostly stayed on the property which was secure and secluded. The private beach is protected and private. There was a lot do and it had pools for kids and adults only. Also, swim up bar at one pool. There was a little remodel noise during our stay.

We had to cut our trip short within 24hrs of arriving due to a family emergency. Hyatt was very accommodating and refunded us appropriately. We were very sad to leave and will definitely return sometime soon! Dining options lovely, staff wonderful, views amazing. A gem of a location!

The staff was rude. They were incredibly and friendly and unhelpful. The bartenders at the open bar were extremely rude and most of their time making fun of people. I would never go to this resort again. We go to Cabo all the time and never have this kind of experience.
