The hotel is beautiful, all the staff were extremely nice and friendly. The food is great, however they need to work a little bit in the rooms. The rooms were smelling humid. We had to change the first room due to humidity. Mr. Milton Pimentel and Mr. Junior they both facilitated our change to a very nice room. The second room was fantastic!

Read so many reviews about the quality of food and service of the staff not being great but I would sincerely disagree! The best part about the food is that they had such a big selection of proteins, veggies, fruits, and sides that each day enjoyable for meal variety. The staff were just as good as they were mostly engaging and not miserable like some ppl had mentioned. We found some favorites and the resort made us feel welcome. Finally, the views were surreal and Sosua Beach, shopping, and eateries were all within a 10 minute walk.

The staff is pleasant and courteous. Room bed was very hard. My husband killed two big spiders. The bathroom was filthy with black soap scum all over the skiwer wall and mold all around the floors. There was also no hot water.

We spent extra money for a swim up suite, and called a week ahead to confirm our reservation. At check in, we were told that the room was not available. We were put into a room that was nice, but in a cheaper price category. To this date we have not received a refund from the resort or from Expedia. While the resort was fabulous, and many of their staff very helpful and kind, this experience will mean that we don't return or use Expedia in the future.

I wouldn’t recommend. My first room had significant visible black mold. I was told they didn’t have another room until following day and basically said to bad. Food wasn’t great and couldn’t get a decent shower between no hot water and lack of water pressure. Staff didn’t seem eager to help at all. The beach was good so at least there was that.

The beach area it's really small, and the chairs were very old and dirty. The ocean view it's pretty, but it's not worth paying extra for adults only, because the other resort shares the beach, and the buffet.

I loved the cove of our Casa Marina beach. The water is gorgeous. Service at the bars is good, drinks are good (I only had a few), nice staff. Waiter staff was excellent! Food at buffet was fantastic! We loved the buffet - fruit, international options, variety, healthy . . . Coffee and wine were great! We loved the Select seating area and service there. Nice seat by the water to eat in quiet surroundings. Small coffee shop is good too. Adults only is good - but there were a few kids on the beach during the day. Entertainment in the outdoor theater was wonderful!!! The grounds and landscaping is pretty and well-maintained. Spa - massage was good but the hot tub was weird and cool temperature. Only issues- * We didn't get a beach chair - need a few more. * We needed an umbrella for the afternoon at the beach but there weren't any available. * We left beach towels on a chair for just an hour and it was gone - we reported to the desk immediately, but we were not allowed to get another one. * The restaurant we made reservations at - near to our room: it was not very good food. It was disappointing. The buffet was much better. * Shower water was cool and a bit warm - but not hot. * Guest was smoking IN the pool and using plastic water bottle to put butts! Is this allowed? I think there should be a rule against this. She was also playing music and talking very loudly. Is that allowed? OVERALL - We really enjoyed this place and our few days there.

Terrible .. 1st room had no water ,, tv did not work and no lighting.. 2nd room had mold ..no tv at all . air conditioner did not work and zero hot water .. told us they would change to a 3rd room .. and just gave excuse afrer excuse .. finally 6 days in we gave up .. we paid double to be on select side .. was a big waste of money .. by far the worst experience I’ve ever had …. Also the ⭐️rating is way way way off Im shocked Orbitz would sell this place and it will definitely affect who i book with in the future

I'm a little torn on my review of Casa Marina Select. Loved: The swim up room Francis, the very helpful gentleman who worked the bell desk. He went out of his way to help with whatever anyone needed. All the bartenders and the service staff in the buffet restaurant The cleanliness, it was absolutely spotless every day Was OK The food at the buffet...it wasn't the most amazing meal you are going to have but there were lots of choices and it was replenished frequently. Needs some work: The water situation. I only had one warm shower my entire stay, otherwise the water was cold or at best tepid. The day I left there was no water at all, so no shower or flushing toilets. There are not enough pool and beach chairs. People were out there at 5am claiming them for the day. The cigarette smoke. A large group set up directly across from my room and proceeded to chain smoke from 7:30am until they went to dinner at 6:30. Another group smoked at the tables at the outside bar all afternoon. Someone in the room above me smoked all afternoon and evening on their balcony. The people on both sides of me were complaining as well. I would stay again, but only in the swim up rooms. And they really need to put in some designated smoking areas, the current smoke wherever you are policy really impacts the stay for everyone.

Location is perfect. Beach is clean and no outside vendors at all. I stayed at the adult only side- the rooms can be better. Better furniture. Food for the most part was repetitive in the buffet but good.
