This hotel was a perfect choice for our family. The suite was quite spacious and allowed us to spread out and relax. There are a lot of things to do in the area as it's walkable to the Citadel, waterfront, casino, museum, Province House and plenty of restaurants. Plus, you can't beat the warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in. Valet parked and never needed the car the two days there.

- We drove around here three times but still couldn't find the entrance. - No parking spot, we have to choose valet parking. - If you don’t have Hilton membership and drink a bottle of water, the Hotel will charge you $2.50 each! - They charged us the movie fee automatically but we didn’t watch the movie, after negotiation, reception staff promise to return the money back to me later, however I didn’t receive it until now.

No on site parking, and not much space to pull up front. There is a parkade about half a block away. Breakfast was great. They have rooms available to accomodate 6 guests, so it would be a good spot for those with big families.

Location is extremely convenient to all downtown amenities and the waterfront. The staff were all really great.

During check in, the staff had an earpod in one side of her ear, and she had her phone next to the keyboard and she was clearly looking at Instagram. She wasn't paying full attention to me when I was checking in and asking her about valet parking. She literally was looking at her phone and I to say excuse me twice to get her attention. Also, I have a photo to show but not sure why it doesn't allow me to attach here but my bedsheet had a huge dirty water-looking stain that's bigger than my palm, right in the middle near the pillow area. Quite disgusting. I had to use a towel to cover over it to be able to sleep on the bed, they also don't change the bedsheets as I booked the room for 4 nights and it was the same sheet with the stain. They also seem a bit random in their approach to turning over things, sometimes they brought new towels, sometimes it was clearly a rough & rushed turnover without replenishing things. My family in adjacent rooms also sometimes get service and was skipped a day or 2. The view from my windows were - towards a chinese restaurant's exhaust and the other side the hotel's "parking space" together with their large garbage bins. Not pleasant to look at.

East Coast Trip

Steven at front desk is amazing. He provided a lot of helpful information for Halifax and our trip to Cabot Trail. Great Service! The rooms were awesome and the shower is amazing. Great location right by the harbourfront. The restaurant was nice...great drinks!
