What a lovely place to stay! Set in such beautiful surrounds, these cottages were cosy and inviting. We got a free room upgrade, the staff were very friendly and even helped us find their resident koala in the trees! The only thing that could be improved would be a new mattress, not very comfortable. Although we can look past this because everything else was great.

OMG, the worst experience ever! I checked-in late to the motel, because I was out watching the sun set. When I got to my room, I just left my stuff there and went to their restaurant to grab some proper food. When I sat down after I ordered, I regretted it right away. The table I sat in was extremely filthy, with food bits and sauce all over it. I checked the other tables, and mine was the cleanest one, so I just sat there. When the food arrived, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered Chicken Teriyaki for $22. What was on my plate was mainly composed of a big chunk of rice, bits of chicken drowned teriyaki sauce, 4 pieces broccoli and 2 tiny chopped carrots. I would not recommend eating there. First, due to cost; second, if the dining hall was dirty, I wonder in what state the food is prepared in? I finished all my meal (I didn't eat the whole day) and went back to my room. After a quick shower, I pulled one side of the top overs off and immediately noticed a rumpled outline of a body on the bed. I pulled the other side, and it was the same! I was super horrified to realise the bed sheet wasn't change. To confirm this, I went to pull the entire top cover off and guess what popped out? A LIVE COCKROACH! I almost slept with a live cockroach. I immediately went to grab someone at the front desk to show them, and they gave me a new room. However, it was strange that the mattress heater in the new room was still running, after I was told no one used it since 10am. Go figure.

So convenient to the 12 Apostles. We spotted a koala and the location was very quiet.

It was terrible. In the end we decided to lose our money rather than stay

We were disappointed with the feel, cleanliness and service during our stay. Their website appears to be out of date and misrepresents the quality of this accomodation. During our 3 night stay there was no servicing of our room whatever and we had to ask for fresh towels and top up of tea, sugar and coffee on the third night. The pool was closed and looked to me as though it had not been used for quite some time. The children's playground and BBQ facilities were overgrown and untidy It seems to me the current owners can't be bothered... Relying on a constant stream of single night stop-over tourists making a flying visit to the Apostles, rather than the country retreat style extended stay they promote. It's a shame because the potential of this business, with it's location is enormous! I suspect the original owners had a great business up and going. It's been let go!

Location is close to 12 apostles. Quiet country Inn.. Extra pillows in room were not clean. Facilities were old and rundown. Staff had difficulty answering questions about restaurant and services offered. No one at reception at 10 am. Overpriced, would stay in Port Campbell next time.

It was 3kms down a dirt road, there was only a dirt track entry and dirt to park on. The place obviously catered for Chinese as a couple of the staff barely spoke English. The room was adequate and clean but not for the price. And can you please explain why, when we complained about the high cost, we were shown that we had paid $250 for the night, but were charged $295 by Wotif? Because of the language barrier, there was a huge mix-up regarding dinner times and we ended up with no dinner for the evening.
